Snow Sports To Enjoy Near Clarksburg

Skiing and Snowboarding

Within only an hour and a half of several resort destinations, hit the slopes for a jam-packed weekend of snowy fun at Canaan Valley Resort State Park. Also offered at Canaan Valley Resort are several activities like snow tubing, dining, cafes, and shops. 

Sleigh Riding

Want to feel like Tim Allen in Santa Claus? Take a detour to Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia for a day of winter sleigh riding.

Hiking

Hiking in the wintery snow provides more than a few beautiful views. If you’re up to it, explore trails like Harrison North Rail Trail or Harrison South Rail Trail.
